It looks like TRD doesn't make a upgraded driveshaft from what I can tell. Are the Ts parts more heavy duty/aggressive compared to TRD parts?

Edit: Also, where is the best place to buy Ts or Japanese TRD parts?
www.japanparts.com is your best bet.

I think the TRD Performance catalog is more geared towards track duty and style, while the STI Performance catalog is more focused on street driveability and driving feel. IMHO the TRD Performance catalog is a lot more developed with a very wide variety of parts.

Depending on what you're defining as a driveshaft, STi doesn't make one. They only upgraded the rear axles on the tS

Looks exactly like the "concept" we just saw. Same cosmetic features.

Here's the price list of the 86 TRD Performance Catalog:

I'm not too keen in mixing parts from both the STI and TRD camps just because I think the manufacturer is expecting one to buy into a system with synergy from the different part offerings, but I know some of you guys are doing this and probably don't have much ill-effects.
Subaru SPT (US) product also much less than TRD (US)><

SPT: (Only Oil cap and Battery hold down ><) http://www.subaru.com/content/downlo...esBrochure.pdf

Not exactly. It has the new yellow billsteins. They feature some recent advancements in damper technology. These was also used in the latest Nürburgring 24h race.

Check also the similar yellow WRX STI tested at the ring:

The yellow blisteins were on the concept, and actually have been available for purchase for some time now. If the concept is anything to go by, it looks like some parts were removed from the original tS and some added.

I thought the Ts came with a more heavy duty drive shaft? What brand is your carbon fiber one?

I think probably no GT package this time around as the GT wing and Recaros are available now on the catalog. Or maybe they'll just throw in the Recaros as standard. Everything else could be similar to the old car aside from the Bilsteins and minor trim details.

That WRX STI in the video could well be the new tS.

I guess they had too much left over yellow paint from the 86/FRS Release Series.

Only the axles; they're just listed as "driveshafts" is all. My driveshaft is the cf one from DSS.

The recaros are standard it looks like without the gt wing; it has the trunk lip spoiler now. I believe this car, together with the wrx sti, are one run/one color special edition this time around. Probably limited to fewer than 500 in Japan most likely
