That's nice I believe the smoothness is from the axle, Japanese review of the tS also sorta mentioned about this improved feel over stock. Looks like it's definitely worth it. Probably gonna get one next year.

I know lots ppl own the car but never take it to mountain pass or track. It's not hard to understand why they want more power.

Last time I had a really fun time tailing an Evo on some really winding mountain pass. He just couldn't out run me. (obviously on a highway or straight piece of road it's a totally different story lol....he would be gone in seconds)

BTW I think I didn't adjust my flexible draw stiffeners properly. Turns out I'm supposed to turn it until some groove begins to move on the rod in order to achieve a 3mm preload (now I think the rod is a pull action instead of a push that I've always assumed). Gotta go back to the mechanic tmr.

Yes correct installation is very important. It seemed in the past to have some complaints about the product. It caused excessive understeer. Check here:

Flexible draw stiffener installed - lost front end grip
flexible draw stiffener - STI - causing understeer

Sorry ..

I don't know why it does not accept them. Just go in google here and check the first two links.

Can you please tell us how it handles after the correction?

Well I've never experienced understeer issues after installing them for over a year. The instructions were all in Japanese so I never understood the preload part. Actually after installing them the car just feels more planted on all 4 corners when going thru a corner (btw I've had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 in stock size upto this day even before I bought the first STI part for the car).

I'll be visiting the mechanic later today I'll report back on the setup.

So when it says "BRZ Chassis Specific" does it really mean that it will only fit the BRZ, or will it fit a FRS too?

Okay so we checked the rods and one was set at 3mm but the other one was at 2.5ish mm so my mechanic readjusted it to 3mm. All good no issues. Very clean too consider I drive thru the road salt on dry winter days here in Toronto. My car has never exhibit any of the issues outlined on those two links.

Yes that means it will fit only the BRZ and therefore FRS as well.

Here's the price list of the 86 TRD Performance Catalog:

http://www.trdparts.jp/english/86_pe...ine/price.html

I'm not too keen in mixing parts from both the STI and TRD camps just because I think the manufacturer is expecting one to buy into a system with synergy from the different part offerings, but I know some of you guys are doing this and probably don't have much ill-effects.

Thanks for the list. Ideally, I would want TRD parts, but it seemed like American TRD parts are more for the name (door stabilizers, strut bars). I like the link you sent me because it looks like it has a big variety like the Ts parts.

It looks like TRD doesn't make a upgraded driveshaft from what I can tell. Are the Ts parts more heavy duty/aggressive compared to TRD parts?

Edit: Also, where is the best place to buy Ts or Japanese TRD parts?
