Sorry for the crappy iPhone video. I had a busy weekend and this is the best I could record on my own. I also live near a freeway and my neighbors were outside so there's back ground noise and I didn't wanna be revving it like crazy.

Overall I'm very happy with the sound. I purchased this not knowing exactly how it would sound so I didn't know what to expect. I was considering the Perrin resonated for the longest until I heard the nonresonated version of the v1, but whatever I got had to be resonated. It's definitely deeper than stock and with a slight rumble. The tips hang a bit lower than other exhausts I've seen but I like that. It's centered perfectly if you have the Subaru rear diffuser.

Anyone have this exhaust resonated with an UEL header? I too was strongly leaning towards the perrin 2.5 resonated because it was on the quiet side because my header is one of the loudest out there (open flash header). But I just can't get over how much more I like the look of this exhaust, especially with the black powder coat option

Just afraid of it being obnoxiously loud because it does sound louder than the perrin in videos.

I just purchased the V1 over the weekend. Struggling to withhold my excitement and anticipation.

I got the resonated version with the expectation of going the route of UEL OFH and OFT after my warranty is finished (and I have more $). Will post updates and videos accordingly since it seems many are in this speculative boat.

Btw, the regular v1 (stainless, not black power coat) is kept in stock, or is it made to order? I got order confirmation and wondering when to expect shipping confirmation now. My wrench hand, it burns....

I just installed the V1 system on Saturday. It was the simplest, most straight forward and successful aftermarket parts install I've done in years. Looks good and sounds better. A very mature tone for the little 2 litre and it sits perfectly centered and doesn't move around much.

The resonated is also one of the most tame aftermarket exhausts I've personally heard. Right after install, I drove from LA to San Diego and back, putting over 150 freeway miles and more in town over the weekend, all with the GF in the paasenger seat... and all she ever asked was "what's the big deal with your exhaust again?"
