USB charger: OEM fit

I found a 12v to 2x USB charger module on a popular auction site. It is a perfect fit for the dash blanking plate beside the cubby, near the gear stick on my Australian delivered GT 86

The cover and printing are not quite up to factory quality, But it's way better looking than any other solution I've come up with. I plan to take power from behind the console lighter socket.

Did you need to do anything to get it mounted, aside from taking the OEM piece out?

I wonder if some isopropyl alcohol would take off the printing?

Some gentle acetone application will most likely do it.

Acetone dissolves some plastics.
Try thinners first.

Calum: it snaps right in. The tabs were spot on. The printing isn't too bad, I'll leave it on. You could also remover the rubber cover however, it is backlit with blue LEDs. I hate blue LEDs so i'm leaving the cover in place.
