Wireless Charger (aka Inductive Charger) in the Scion FR-S

As a little hobby of mine, I work on cell phones quite a bit.

I thought it would be nice to have a wireless charger inside the vehicle..

I'm using the HTC Droid DNA currently. For all the Nexus 4 owners you should be able to take advantage of something like this as well. GS3, Note 2, and other device owners can probably find a QI compatible battery door on the market.

I guess unibody construction devices like the HTC One X / HTC Evo 4G LTE might have a more difficult time finding a solution. This was a nice addition to the DNA.

I have been looking to add Qi charging for my Nexus 4 / Pro-clip setup in the BRZ. I guess the deal breaker is the slower charging rate of Qi as I like to keep the battery topped off in the car.

Can you make a video about how you modified the Qi charger in the car / phone holder?

Thanks for making this great video!
