My battery was disconnected for a while multiple times since the modifications. No difference.

I can vouch for the effect of resetting the VSC with a lowered car

mine is on KW V3 coilovers and about 30mm lower at the front and 25mm lower at the back and since using a copy of Techstream and an ebay cable to reset the VSC in its new ride height

previously the stability control was a bit keen to kick in once lowered

now its been reset the point of stabilty control intervention is much higher and the car is more pleasent to drive

im on ST coils, lowered about 2" front and rear. -2 deg camber front, -2.7 deg rear. 245/40/17.

before, i was on Hotchkis springs lowered 1" front and rear. -1.5 deg front, -1.7 deg rear. 245/40/17.

both setups had the exact same "limit" of VSC kickin in as when the car was bone stock.

Same suspension and alignment, but as soon as I swapped tires and wheels it started acting up....

I went to the alignment shop today and they had no idea what could be causing it. They said they would put the car on the rack and re check my alignment if I wanted. Still hoping the VSC re set will fix it. Will be doing it over the weekend .
Strange. I ended up with the same problem, but with the opposite sequence of events.

I got my 255/35/18 Direzza ZII's on 18x9.5 +40 wheels with stock suspension, no VSC/TC issues.

As soon as I lowered my car on Tein MonoSport with proper alignment settings, then I experienced VSC/TC issues.

Has any one experiencing this tried putting the stock wheels back on to see if it goes away again?

Just an update on my end: my tire shop inflated my MPSS to 39psi when they put them on. I dropped the pressure to 34psi and the car feels WAY better. I think I'll drop it to 33 or 32 and call it good.

Any fix for this I am experiencing this also, I am lowered on pbms, I also have drift knuckles and outer and inner tie rods for angle, I believe this is what threw it off. Car has been aligned still kicks in uneccesarily.

I'm having the same issue. Tein MonoSport coilovers, -3 front camber, -2.4 rear camber, 0 toe, 4" from ground to bottom of jack rails, 225/45R17 R-S3's. The stability control was going off frequently at Thunderhill East, even when I wasn't pushing the car. After the 5s press, the car felt normal.

Sorry to revive a semi-old thread. Did anyone try using techstream to reset VSC? Looking at the TRD spring install steps it's very clearly outlined as the last step http://www.billswebspace.com/PTR07-18130inst.pdf.
