Stability Control very sensitive after coilovers installed

From the diagrams, it looks much more likely for the rear speed sensors to have been dislodged, then the front ones. I would suggest checking those first, the VSC is also under the hood next to the LF speed sensor, if that's come loose it will also cause problems.

If it were a wheel speed sensor it would be doing something very different. If one (or more) of them are unplugged it'll how up as soon as you start the car, and VSC/TC will be disabled entirely since it can't figure out what to do with one (or more) sensors down.

I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but I got my suspension installed, corner balanced and aligned. I ran the car on stock tires and it was awesome. Decided to upgrade to lightweight wheels and MPSS and it was actually the tire/wheel change that, some how, made the VSC way more sensitive. Same suspension and alignment, but as soon as I swapped tires and wheels it started acting up....

I went to the alignment shop today and they had no idea what could be causing it. They said they would put the car on the rack and re check my alignment if I wanted. Still hoping the VSC re set will fix it. Will be doing it over the weekend .

I remember reading last winter some people struggling with overly sensitive VSC after installing taller snow tires. Are you absolutely positive that there isn't anything odd about your wheel/tire configuration?

Are you possibly overdamped and getting some wheel skip?

Stock size on both wheels and tires.

Coilovers are set very soft.

What size wheels/tires? What tire pressure? How warm has it been when this is happening? MPSS will need a bit more heat in them before they start gripping better, if they're really cold they'll have less grip than stock tires.

For everyone having this issue, is VSC actually more intrusive or is the car breaking traction easier?

I seem to have this issue as well. To me it seems like VSC is more intrusive than anything since I can turn it all off (buttons on the center console, no pedal dance) and I don't feel any slip.

I'm on RCE Tarmac 0's, 17x9 wheels with 245/40 PSS's.
Alignment is F/R
-2/-1.5 camber
0/.02 toe in.

Bizarre... in "normal" or sport mode I can definitely feel slip before the VSC steps in.
