Time for my first oil change

im about to hit the 7k mark which means i have to go in for my first scheduled oil change. However i am concerned that they will take note of my after market exhaust and lowering springs which i am afraid will affect any warranty claims i may later have.

i still have all of my stock parts bubble wrapped in my garage just in case i have to swap everything back to stock for a warranty claim, but i would hate to find out later that they made a note of the aftermarket parts being there during my oil change.

Has anyone ran into any of these issues????

Zero relevance other than for your shocks. If the service manager threatens otherwise, just tell them you'll take your business to another dealership.

They can deny warranty but not void it. Read up on it.
For 2015 BRZ's the oil change interval is 6k. Not sure for the FRS.
They aren't in the business to deny/void warranties, it doesn't make them any money.
I would be more worried about a wrench monkey aka tech doing a money shift/driving your car hard during a test drive than any potential "notes" they might make.

And this is due to it being a hassle for them to put the car on the lift correct?

Not that.

It's because if you lower the car (excessively), you will prematurely blow out the shocks, so if you have issues with the shocks you might not be able to get it covered under warranty.

Nothing to do with the rest of the car.

No. Unless they FLY up the ramps on a ramp type lift (which ive seen done!).
Springs don't lower the car that much. 1inch? maybe a little more?

It is because you changed the springs and the shocks are compromised, meaning they won't be covered by warranty anymore.
