Not the same reviewer for both cars + they gave the BRZ 5 stars. The only difference, and every other magazine/youtube/tv show mentionned it, in stock form, the BRZ is set to understeer a little more than the 86...

Well now that we finally have a good comparative review out from MT, it's bye-bye FR-S, hello BRZ for me. I want neutral, not tail-happy.

![]() Bit of a change in attitude from your last posts. Now wouldn't you agree you were exaggerating a little bit? If you ever change the springs, or go to coilovers, pretty much 90% of the handling differences will be gone. I guess it's time to change your screen name now. |

I'm an empiricist. I went with the data available at the time. Better data now available from a direct apples to apples comparison leads to a different conclusion. I especially value the input of a proven racer with no axe to grind like Randy.
And I should add that this new data is not the only reason I am shifting to the BRZ. As I have become more acquainted with each of the twins I have come to appreciate the styling of the BRZ more than the FR-S, and the extra features are a draw as well. So I was already on the fence, it was really only the reported handling dynamics that kept me with the FR-S. That parameter has now shifted, luckily before I locked in to an FR-S. I've already mentioned changing my name in a few other posts. Have to ask the admin about it, I doubt I can do that on my own. |

I think Scion FR-S (oops, now "Sport-Tech" user name!) was referring to DadHawk's thread here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6776
