Is anyone running the Vortech V2 with OFT? I'm putting together a custom kit with the V2 and I'd like to keep running my OFT is possible.

Are you sure the v3 tune wouldn't work? I don't think the ECUTek crowd has a different tune for the oil fed unit, do they?

It should be the same seeing as the internals are but I wasn't sure if anyone could confirm for me.

OFT arrived on Saturday and I did the stage 1 93 as we have a Shell 2 min from the house so it is readily available. Still on the fence about going to the corn juice but i have plenty of time to decide this summer lol. The unit didnt have the proper CALID for my car so I did have to dl the proper files but steve99's tutorials were very helpful and I had everything working shortly after.

Butt dyno definitely felt a difference and the car did seem to pull much better in the 2.5-4k rpm area. The throttle control seemed smoother as well but that might have just been placebo effect.

Had a 5 and a half hour round trip drive of all highway/freeway on Sunday to pick up my sister from school and the car drove great. Had my oft on me just in case and will most likely keep it in the car for a while but so far so good.

Great product guys!

e85 is def fun and worth it...sure you have a drop in mpg, but the price difference should make up for it.

Plus its nice cause you can always switch back and forth, so if you try e85 and you dont like it(impossible!) you can always switch back.

Although, to be fair, it's a huge pain in the ass to switch back and forth compared to a true flexfuel kit + ecutek tune.

Not knocking it, though. I'm using OFT and will be going back to corn this week

Right now I get my E85 for $2.39. The same place sells cali 91 for $4.19....

20 extra horses and cheaper on the gas...

do you use the station off Murrietta Hot Springs? or up in Wildomar?

I'm in Canyon hills, but since my work is in OC I usually get gas over there.

its not too bad plus the new OFT update for faster flashing makes things 10x easier to do at the pump.

But a flexfuel option would be cool...

Both of those are around 2.99 a gallon right now. I work in Mo Valley so I get fuel in Beaumont right off of San Timeteo Cyn Rd, or now called Oak Valley Parkway.

I use those others for emergency fill stations or when I'm off work and need fuel. but I always carry my laptop with a charge so I can swap maps in an emergency...

Calimesa is right by there too is 2.49 a gallon, a couple of weeks ago it was only $2.19 a gallon which was awesome..

Of course a month or two ago the one off murrieta hot springs was 1.99 a gallon.
