thats the only one that should be active when car stationary in neutral and clutch released Hang on I think I remember their is a 400 rpm change from when clutch depressed to released if LC Delta set to 2600 and redline rpm is 7600 then with clutch in it may be rpm limited to 4600, try it in neutral with clutch released it mat then be 5000 like its supposed to be. |

So turns out the 400 rpm drop is there in neutral (clutch in or out) and in first the normal LC delta is where it was set to in the tune.

I just flashed back to 91 stg. 2 El from the stg 2 el e85, not sure if this is normal:|
http://www.datazap.me/u/firesnake/ma...1?log=0&data=1 Had a code that I was running rich, and KC learned averages 3-8 on throttle. Should I be worried? |

Any ideas if readout is theoretically accurate as a representation of what you would be getting if running 93 while actually running E85?

AFAIK the mpg display is calculated by the ecu using injector pulse widths for pi and pressure for the di. The oft e85 tunes adjust the pi injector scaling up 30% and the di pressure multiplier up 30% to get the e85 fueling in the ballpark so your not running massive fuel trims like 30%. It appears the ecu calculation for mpg does not take into account those paramaters in it fueling calculation hence the calculation is incorrect by about 30%. Their may be parameters in ecu to correct tgis but no one has bothered to extact them. |

Has anybody actually tried using the table cryptically called "Table_Fuel_Multiplier_Display" ?

yes should try that out, seems it will only adjust fuel calc for DI as its based on pressure, so hopefully the PI is taken care of somewhere else or already compensated for. |

Hi Steve, I've no idea how it was done but when I ran an E85 Ecutek tune on my car the mpg fuel reading was accurate so there is obviously some way of doing it for the intelligent ones of you out there

I finally jumped on the oft, loaded up my first flash last night, stage 1 v2.0 91oct... put on about 8-10 miles, no wot though. How long should I be driving before the tune fully seats in... I searched and did a lot reading on the form regarding this but it appears there is no definite answer. some says a few days, weeks or a few miles after the re-flash. I followed all the tips on page one after the re-flash. some says to monitor the fuel trim and once stabilized, you are good. But I am a newbie / dummy, can anyone explain how I should be reading the fuel trim? how to better understand? I plan on going stage 2 el E85 once my tank is low enough.
