GrimSpeed intake/ Mishimoto oil cooler

Does anyone else have a GrimSpeed intake and a Mishimoto oil cooler? My intake (housing) isn't fitting with the oil cooler installed. Short of cutting a hole in the box, any ideas how to get it to fit better. I was thinking maybe heat it up and bend box...

Hey, can you post a picture of what it looks like right now and maybe I can help get this sorted. I know the fit is close, but I also have some good ideas. Some pictures would help me immensely!

Can you rotate the sandwich plate counter-clockwise?

Sorta like this

Yeah what Takumi said, it looks as if you have a really good shot of fitting if you rotate the sandwich plate towards the Oil Cap, and then rotate the fitting for the banjo bolt nearest the cap up instead of sideways.

Let us know if that works, or shoot us some more pics to see how close it is for reference, and we'll keep helping ya!

I had to get rid of my GS intake so the JR oil cooler would fit Can't stomach how tight the space is between the sandwich and intake.

As noted by GS and Takumi, rotating the sandwich plate should provide a bit more clearance. Let us know if this provides the needed space to use these two components together!

This has been the sole reason I haven't ordered my Mishimoto Oil cooler. I love my GS intake so hopefully rotating it will work.

Not sure if this helps. I haven't tested to see if the lines reach yet. It does clear everything backwards (I also have an AC delete (unsure if that creates extra clearance). It will not clear forwards just by rotating it (maybe if the lines fed directly into the sandwich plate it would. The GrimmSpeed 86 oil cap will not fit this way though :/
