I think this car has plenty of power for an everyday driver or normal people who don't sit on forums all day and talk about cars like us.
Ideally, 220 would be perfect for me though

The older Scion commercials may have been embarrassing, but I wouldn't call this one "good", just better.

I kept expecting a voice over in the BRZ commercial that says, "BRZ is not meant for people with heart conditions. If a road trip lasts more than four hours consult your doctor."

TRD springs?
"Optional equipment" would explain the power comment, they just won't make the options available.

And the Japanese one where the father and son fight but sort of make up over the car. That one kind of hit home for me.

But this Scion ad just seems to play off one very simplistic emotion: envy. The other dude seems surprised when he sees him in the car, asks him about it and is impressed by it. Making people jealous/envious of me and/or my car is not really my goal. Especially when it's other guys.
2nd one hit me right in the feels.

Loads of room I would say. At least this one try's to put a little excitement into the visuals. The first Canadian commercial was just the car bouncing down the road in a straight line.

you would think with scions customization focused sales pitch they would reach out to the people who actually bought the car, and ask for some input about why we bought them. I'm sure a few people on here could make a better commercial about a car that we enjoy and why we enjoy it than some ad agency.

They have, I've gotten requests to do survey's from a marketing research company. I went ahead and did it because I got entered for prizes.
