Just got my 17x9 +35 SBC mounted, with 245/40/17 Hankook RS3
I'll only run these for track days/AutoX
Also running Eibach prokit, not much room between tire and perch but enough to get a piece of cardboard through.

just recently had my coilovers installed and threw on my wheels today, so i can finally make my contribution to this thread. i feel like this fitment is perfect for the car and i can't wait to get used to this setup. 17x9 +35, of course, with 245/40/17 hankook ventus r-s3 and -2° camber all around...

according to this http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-calculator/

also there is a very good selection at 245/40/17, 235/40/17 not so much. a quick search on tire rack 235 gave me 12 results, 245 gave me 64. I am sure you can make either work but diameter + availability pushes people towards the 245.

I think 235 on an 18" wheel are much more available

Dunlop Star Specs come in 235/40/17

Woohoo! Got my coilovers on today so I'm no longer competing for monster truck of the year.

Here's the wheels with 255/40/17 Hankook RS3 V2's, stock springs, HVC no-raise camber plates and whiteline camber bolts up front for ~3.2 camber up front, all stock out back, no rubbing.

Here's the same setup at the Corvette Museum, still no drop:

And here she is today after lowering about an inch with KW V3's, still no rubbing. Getting it corner balanced and aligned next week, will report back on specs then.
