CSG, Cusco, and Winmax went to test some Winmax brake pads and suspension setups recently. Some good data was acquired.

This post is like saying you spent 800 hours searching the internet for the best porn site ever and found it, but not leaving a link.

If you plan to use for autocross, W3 is a great option. Let us know if you want in on the GB.

Loving my W3s all around for DD and AutoX. I also upgraded to Stoptech SS lines/slotted ft rotors, Motul 660, and have a Grimmspeed brace.

Thread revival...

Have run DS2500's for years and been very happy with them but there is one particular track I goto which has started pushing their limits with R compound tyres. In this case, there is a long straight where 120mph becomes about 55mph so after 5 laps the front pads are smoking. Every other track I do doesn't have as much of a variance so the pads have never been an issue even with the tyres.

I like that they're suitable for daily duties, minimal dust, don't abuse rotors and good pedal feel but still manage consistent performance on the track (except this one place lol). Is there a Winmax pad (or anything else for that matter) worth trying which matches those characteristics but can take a bit more heat abuse? Can drop the daily duties but want to keep the other stuff as swapping pads before a track day isn't a big issue. Though always thought switching compounds on the same rotors was a no no?

Current BBK uses FRP3077 front and FRP219 rear though I'd prefer not to replace the rears as they're only half used.
