Anyways, that was off-topic.

Boxing is boring in the way golf and BASEBALL is boring. Unless you know what you're looking for, you're not going to be entertained.

On paper that fight should have been one for the ages. In reality it was an eye-roll inducing snooze-fest. Don't call it the fight of the century, it wasn't even the fight of the night!
In my book that goes to Lomachenko for his KO or Santa Cruz's decision. Both of them showed up to finish their opponent, even though Santa Cruz is already undefeated and could have just putzed in for the win... also they are much smaller (featherweight and Super Bantamweight) and don't seem to have any trouble finding the KO

... Alright I'm done beating a dead horse. I just hope boxing finds someone to reignite fans again.

I will never pay 100$ to watch Mayweather fight until it is in the Octagon with Ronda Rousey.

If that fight happens, I will pay w/e they want, because she would break his arm.

Mayweather is THE BEST BOXER in the last 30 years. I don't care. He is a horrible human being. He is single-handedly killing boxing.

Sports generally GROW due to casual fans. NFL figured this out and the NBA has recently figured it out. Boxing does not really have casual fans anymore...and it is a dying sport because of this.

The general consensus is that the so called fight sucked. The only people that say it's not are boxing snobs like you that are trying desperately to hang onto a dying sport. It's all about the money now and no one wants to risk anything anymore.

Not true - I would have loved to see Pac man launch ridiculous barrages which he didn't regardless of outcome. He had his moments but didn't live up to his previous matches. I know how Mayweather fights - so nothing fun to watch there.

What people wanted to see was pure offence versus pure defence. Instead, we got poor defence against pure defence. Boring - never watching a boxing match ever again (this was the first and last one I've ever paid to watch).

part of the problem was that pacman blew out his left shoulder in like the 4th round and thus had 0 power. there was a flurry of punches pacman threw in like the 6th round ( i cant remember, i watched it monday without interruptions) and mayweather just shook his head nope after getting hit a couple times. then it was coast time for may to his victory.

don't be surprised to see a rematch with even more hype and a bigger ticket draw, and don't be surprised if people still pay for it.
