We're right there with you. Prototypes take a lot longer than anticipated... every... single... time. These were suppose to be done at the end of February.

Anyway, we are hopeful to make it up to you guys with billet pron. Something to start off your mid-weekend right .

Very nice! It almost looks like a redesigned version of the Crawford Powerblocks, but I'm guessing that's just the bottom portion of it. Can't wait to see the whole thing! Any chance you can send out prototypes for composite 3D printing - or are you past that stage?

I guess I should have mentioned what part of the intake manifold this was. This is the head flange and runners component, bolted onto the plenum floor flange.

We are well past that point. Also, 3D printing, while quicker, would have only allowed us to test fitment, and not actually running it on car for long. Fullblown ran into this problem with their intake manifold. We could have SLS'd the part but then you're talking about significant costs.

It's a beautiful piece, but you'd better hope those fasteners never back out due to vibration and get ingested into the combustion chamber! Admittedly, this looks less likely once the threaded velocity stacks are put in place, but it still looks like a potential hazard.

This is a very well thought out piece, so what am I missing?

So if one was to make ITB's then they would have to have them all as individual components so the runner length would remain constant?
