SO HAPPY I decided to wait for yours rather than buying the Driveway labs one!

On another note...I would kill to be the person that creates 3d models of cars.

Very nice rear diffuser. Now you guys need to make a functional set of canards to round off the package.

I'm curious, what is your direction, aerodynamically, with the rear diffuser you're designing compared to what's already out there? It looks really good as is and I'm really liking the fact you're incorporating more flat surface area next to the differential.

We wanted to come out with something on our own to balance out the aero front to rear with our race splitter. Something that is sexy and functional, incorporates some unique features (flat underbody to gas tank), and compete with the other components on the market price wise.

I was primarily the designer behind it with Paul making tweaks through CFD. I took a significant liking to the TRD rear diffuser and definitely took design cues from it (shown below).

Not as sexy, but we have to make it reasonable for everyone to buy and fit a wide variety of exhausts.

yah, a functional diffuser that actually creates downforce
by the looks, it probably has enough to scarf and slice up: possum, plastic bags, etc..

Very nice, I'll be very interested to see what the results are in combination with your race splitter and how it looks like on the vehicle with bumper skins, more specifically how it'll look on a RS1.0

Aero balance is 49/51. Very neutral. I'll work on getting some photos soon.

We can, but we don't see the quantity needed to keep pricing reasonable. We do have ideas/plans to come out with a functional blown diffuser .

Ahahahah you crack me up!

We have to make this first diffuser to production first but then we want to create an exhaust and diffuser combo that would truly be a blown diffuser. Paul wants to try his hand at running the CFD behind it to show the gains as well.

Again, multiple months away, but we have been talking about it. Thinking about doing a quantity of 10 run if there is enough interest.

A couple months away from the above diffuser or a couple months away from the "functional blown" diffuser? Put me on the waiting list of the one shown above. My Paypal is ready. lol

The diffuser above should be into production in the next few weeks I hope. We are working on finalizing the design and tweaking it. This means FT-86 Speed Factory should have some to sell around July, hopefully. The blown diffuser would be 2-3 months before a design is created likely.
