I want to get a OFH, how rumbly is it? someone said it is a "mild" rumble. I have a perrin 2.5 in cbe which has a deep tone, will my exhaust sound rumbly?

I recently got the Tomei UEL, changed out the op, fp to Berk resonated with cat for the same reasons regarding keeping at least one cat. Also installed Perrin 2.5 resonated catback.

I have to say I'm super happy with the overall sound, especially the rumble. It's a bit loud on a cold start but the tomei is very unequal so it really brings out a nice burble even when at idle. When you give it some gas it really brings out the rumble.

I can't speak to what it would sound like with everything aside from the header stock as I installed it all at once.

I just swapped mine out for a HKS header i got for a steal. And the OFH was amazing sounding, that with my j2 quad tip got me a crap tone of positive attention. I regret swapping headers a little bit just over the sound loss. build quality was great on it as well.

Thanks for the responses everyone! Guess I'm going with the Tomei headers since it seems to be what I'm looking for.

On an unrelated note, I was on the 710 yesterday when some **** who merged onto the freeway exit last minute kicked up a piece of loose tire and flew right into my grill and front bumper . The grill got pushed in and got some minor scratches under the headlights. Goes to show that you can be careful as possible and someone can still mess up your baby..

I've got the OFH on a completely stock exhaust. Nice and rumbly without having a load of noise. It's like OEM+. Pulse absolutely no drone on highway

I've got the OFH, stock front pipe, and invidia n1. Loud as hell and more rumble than most WRXs I see on the street lol. Even at idle the rumble makes it sound like an overlapping cammed v8. Amazing for the price. My .02

definitely want to pair the OFH with an exhuast. i was thinking perrin, or even the trd exhaust.

I don't have plans for an exhaust just the OFH installed at the moment. But these two are definitely my favorite sounding when paired with the OFH.
