I am thinking to purchase & install the whiteline subframe and trans bushing, and perrin trans bushing. However, the weather is still kinda cold here (about 40-45F). Are these bushings being recommended to be installed at a warmer weather? or as long as there is no road salt on my under body I should be good to install them now?
Thank you!

Only reason to wait for warmer weather is that being under the car in the cold sucks.

If there is road salt, I think they might scratch and rust my frame. Now there is no road salt, so I think the rubber might be hard because of the low temperature and being difficult to fit in after I installed them.

The bushings shouldn't be affected by the cold too much and IIRC there is only one that needs to be stretched on, but it was an easy fit.
The hardest part of the sub-frame install is making sure that you don't crossthread the bolt going back in. Make 100% sure that you've got it threaded by hand before putting any tools to it. |

No issues with my car and all the bushings I have from Whiteline in my car (I have all of them) after two winters here. See my build thread for the list. No salt on the west side of 'murica however.

OK, not sure if I just missed anything or it hasn't been brought up yet, but...
How should I go about balancing aero with suspension upgrades? Currently stock on both, but planning to get aero (driveway labs splitter, side skirts, and diffuser, and a gt wing), then coilovers, then a bbk as funds allow. I plan to track about 4-6 times per year depending on work and finances. Currently have only done 2 weekends, with another coming up in may. Then none for a while. My skill level definitely doesn't really require any of them just yet, but I'm also going to do it anyways because I love the look, hence the upgrade order. But if adding the aero will make the ride worse without stiffer spring rates/better dampening/anything else I'll get the coils first and the aero right after. I'll be ending up around 260whp once I reinstall my supercharger, and goal is 300whp once I get flex fuel.

You should probably do the suspension first. Otherwise how will you know what aero treatments you need?

Balancing aero with suspension is about item number 27 on your list of things to consider. Adding aero now won't make the ride worse. Adding aero now will take away funds that could otherwise be used to make yourself a better driver and make your car perform better. If you prioritize the look of aero above improving your driving or your car's performance, by all means, buy some aero now. It's just not the route I would go. |

But I'm going to just be sure... Aero first won't significantly change the handling, so I'll be just fine until I'm a better driver?

If you do get a decent aero package going, you may end up changing out springs to dial things in just right, so I'd recommend a quality damper with some valving range and separate compression and rebound adjustment (2 way). Depending on your tire choice, I'd do the BBK first, then coilovers, then aero. - Andy |

To summarize, the balance of the car changes depending on what you do. Adding a wing on top of that will probably make the balance changes larger. If you do it up front, and learn with it that way, then you'll probably by OK in the long term, but it might take you longer to get better. |
