Is all your info - with bare wheels or with tires mounted? My concern for 8" (and even for 7.5") +48 wheels is that even 225-wide rubber, tires could rub on the spring under load.

I wanna run 18x9s all around.. sounds like 18x9 +30 in the front with coils should be okay. Yeah?

This may have been mentioned earlier but don't forget about the additional clearance you will have with a healthy dose of camber via your favorite adjustable suspension goodies. Another thought would be flaring that front fender out a bit to make something like an 18x9 +35 to 30 fit with a 245 or 255 tire. Its very likely with coilovers you will gain a good amount of clearance inboard. It seems to me like 18x9 +35 all around with a 255/35 tire would be achievable, with a little work of course, and probably be a very effective Non-Staggered track setup.

Hrm so I saw the post about 18x8.5 +47, but would +44 make much of a change? I should easily clear suspension since you're moving the wheel more outward bound correct?
I'm still super new to the wheel dynamics and math involved, but it sounds like you'd gain 3mm of inside clearance. Would they still fit in the fenders in the front? I'm thinking at 225 40 tire on that, but not sure if it would rub on the suspension under load. |

Also 9.0 +38 with tires in the back will work as well. |

18x8 et40 with 235/40R18
Here is a pic of our FR-S 18X8 et40 235/40R18 Dunlop. The front is perfect and the rear could use about a 10mm spacer. I have a set of Forgedstar F14 being made 19X8.5 et 45 and 19X9.5 et 42. Should be here in a few weeks
