Idk about "ending badly" safety wise but the plasti dip would constantly be peeling from use. Seatbelts bend
I guess could just red spray paint them? Remove and stretch out and paint? Might look cheap if done wrong

Ugh, please don't try to paint them... Good way to mess up the retraction of the belts and depending on the paint, could possibly weaken them.

Hi All,
Just reviving this thread I came across recently. I actually offer this service and have the equipment to professionally change the webbing to any color desired for FR-S & BRZ owners. I'm not a FR-S owner, but rather more active in the Datsun/Nissan community restoring Z's back to factory condition. My Instagram is Factoryspirit if anyone is interested to see some of the cars I've restored or sold around the world. I have attached a few pictures of a set for a Z32 as an example of what they look like when complete. All components are Factory OEM equipment whether its made by Takata or TEQ with our own Factory Spirit webbing of your choice. If any of you are interested in more information, please contact me though Instagram or send me an email at rarezcars@gmail.com I will gladly work with your website administrators and offer a group buy though the ft86club forum so the community can benefit from the service if it's something that the owners would be interested in. Thank you Saro F. Factory Spirit |
