What is the best way for me to go about this?
Hello,
I own a CWP BRZ (Halo equivalent) and unfortunately, was not as familiar with the forum prior to purchasing, so I was not as aware of the modifications available. I was also not aware that the '15 white color was different, and I probably would've went with DGM or WRB if I knew. I've been looking at ideas for tail lights, wheels, and body kits. For body kits, if I had a choice I'd pick the TRD full kit over anything else, but since I've got a BRZ - it seems I can still go with TRD (BaysonR has reps right?) for the BRZ, which shouldn't be a problem I'm assuming. Would this look alright with the STi front lip and a random back skirt? For those with the CWP, it doesn't seem like the painted versions are out yet, how has anyone been getting around to finding one that matches their car? Lastly, anyone have pics of different tails for white? I'm interested in the Valentis red or clears tho can't tell how the clears would look when not lit up. |

1. Yes, Bayson R makes reps so the side skirts and rears will fit the brz.
2. Will it look alright, that is completely subjective to you. Look at others build threads and pics see if you like that look. 3. People take the parts to auto body shops and get the part paint matched or they do it themselves using color code specific spray paint. 4. Search theirs a whole thread for Valentis colored tails or just type it into google. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81230 |

have you considered TOMS? I personally like them over the Valenti's since it gives it a more OEM feel without going too over-the-top with the aftermarket look. Here's some pictures of the clear TOMS tail lights on my car, which is the same as yours.

I have seen the Valentis, just unsure of how the clears look unlit on a white since they look good lit up. |

I have considered them, both red and clears. You're right it does look good and could've been the tails straight from the factory although I've read a lot that it's a bit underwhelming so it's pushed back on my list and I started considering alternatives. It was my original choice tho.

Just FYI, the WRB is changed in 2015 too, the 2014 and older is a different WRB paint code
EDIT: (so you probably wouldn't have been able to find painted versions of 2015 WRB if you went with WRB anyway) Last edited by cdo221; 04-20-2015 at 02:47 AM. |
