It comes down to boost or no boost in the end...
Personally I may have enjoyed the WRX just as much, but I didn't even know it was in the same price range at the time of purchase. besides, BRZ looks better |

If you like the boost part of WRX so much, why don't you just boost your BRZ to have both?
