The other things to cause this is low AT flud, bad gas/moisture in gas. Dump some dry gas in there.

Looks like you are in LA. Not too too far from you:

http://www.delicioustuning.com/contacts

I would give them a call and explain your scenario. Ask about their flex fuel kit and if it would a solution to your issue. Hopefully they can help you out

Thanks man I just might. If I can't get this fixed I'm just going to sell the car. Last time I bought a toyota it was nothing but problems. The frs really made me want to give toyo one more try. This might be my last of the brand. Sorry if I offended anyone, I've just had nothing but bad luck with toyota a for some reason.

Usually you hear nothing but good things but sometimes there are always those lemons out there and people get unlucky .... I forgot to ask, did you already get your ECU replaced by toyota for a brand new one?

Had the same issue. The car would shudder and then die when I came to a stop. Once it died 4 times in a row right after I started the car over again and again. Another time the car died while I was making a left turn.. I had to turn the car back on in the middle of the intersection while still moving... Was freaked out for a split second, then just started it and drove off pissed.
The dealer said they would flash it when I went in for a free oil change. Drove it for two weeks and it still had the issue.. So I doubted if they actually even flashed the ecu. Just got the oft earlier than I expected to solve the issue which is a plus in the end.

And nope, the car was flashed in 2013 and I bought this car private party and is unfortunately out of warranty. I am beginning to believe it has to be the ECU :\

Shit and I just noticed there's a hairline crack on the stock intake box, wonder if this could be an issue as well?

Yeah it did. I was already planning on getting of oft, but just bought it earlier cause of the idle dip.
