How was the cruise? Did you do the 509? I find the corners a little slick and sandy up there this early in the year.

Did anybody else's insurance go up for no reason?
Just got my statement in the mail and it went up $2/month. Didn't get a ticket or anything. Going to call Bel Air today to see what's up. You'd think it should keep going down until you're really old

Busy few days. Tuned with OFT Stage 2 93 octane after the OFH install.
ODBII 90 degree cable arrived so OFT can now be used as a gauge cluster on an iMagnet holder. A layer of winter grime is gone and summer wheels are back on with 3mm spacers to give the fronts some breathing room from the struts at the track April 26th. Installed Morimoto XB LED fogs for better light output and colour match - still need to refine the alignment. |

The Turbo Header passes at about 2" from the belt coming up to the turbo. I think the Header/Wastegate Dump Tube might be more a problem then the Downpipe, but I am going to wrap everything that as heat until the over pipe, hopefully avoid high engine bay temps and keep this from happening again. I am going with a Gates Racing Serpentine Belt and full set of RaceSeng S2 Full Pulley Kit.

Put the summers on Saturday and washed the car yesterday.
I am in serious need of a polish and wax. Since there's still a bunch of crud on the roads I'll probably wait a week or two before doing that. |

Was a little slick on some of the roads, lots of sand, made some corners extra fun, all in all it was a fun time! hope to do it with a large group again some time soon.

If you're up for it some time, I'd like to do it again, but start a little more west. The 509 is a great road, but I find it flows better going from West to East, rather than starting at Sharbot Lake. The town of Tweed is about 45 mins West of Sharbot Lake, and has a Timmies for a meet 'n greet. That would set us up for a Flinton Rd run on the way up to the 506/509. Flinton Rd is similar to the 509 as far as width and pavement condition goes. It probably has as many curves as well, but not as many really sharp ones, and less elevation changes. If you like sharp curves and elevation changes, I suggest Desert Lake Rd at the town of Verona (about an hour South of Sharbot Lake).

I would absolutely be up for it, would be cool to see some other roads once they start to clear up. I only have 10-11k on the car, and im already needing rear tires, last ones have a little life left, but not much. Wondering if just rotating front to back will do, or if I should just replace the rear tires, I'll have to ask Slick
