I just got a quote from Statefarm today for $1050 a year for full coverage on the FRS. I'm 26 and have a clean record prior to 3 years.

That's encouraging... I'm with State Farm as well and that would be pretty fantastic if that would be my premium. Last I called, the BRZ at least still wasn't in their system.

Edit: I just looked on the State Farm site and no such luck for me. $1,919 for full coverage on the BRZ. 23, clean driving record, single and college grad. Looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere for my insurance.

Called up State Farm yesterday. Got quoted at $350/ 6months for full coverage. Will have to check my current policy to see what each level is. Glad I'm not young and driving a sports car for insurance reasons. I have my home insurance and Suby currently with State Farm and I'm 31 with a clean record so that may help explain my low rate.

No degree, not married. I'm currently living with my parents though and my dad has four cars, two motorcycles and the house insured with them, so they cut me a deal.

Yikes. Males under the age of 25 get hammered on their car insurance. Mine went down quite a bit once I was out of that 18-24 age bracket.

You're telling me. I'm actively seeking a better deal cause that is kind of ridiculous. Actually, what is more ridiculous is that I'm spending over $1,100 a year now on a 1999 VW Passat

The FRS would be $1622/yr.

only me insured, 31, male
1 speeding ticket

AIS/Mercury = $1535
Wawanesa = $1672
AAA = $2800!! WTF!!

FYI, AIS (Auto Insurance Specialists) is not an insurance company, they're basically brokers who go through different companies, so that rate is some other company's.

Just got quoted $842.48/6mo.

23 y/o male, updated status to married since the wedding is in August. Multi car discount, with my fianc้ being the primary driver on our '11 Impreza. Previous premium was roughly $500/6mo for just the Impreza, with me listed as the primary and a single male. Also college grad.

This is through Allstate. Im pretty happy, was afraid of much higher insurance.
