They've been at Portland's port for weeks, I snapped photos the day after they were offloaded from the ship.

It is my understanding that there shall be no FR-S sales until 6/1/12... I wonder if your dealer is breaking the rules or if my dealer is blowing smoke. I will give them a shout tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

My contact at Scion corporate just gave me a heads up that no FR-S's (other than First 86) shall be sold before June 1st. The port will not release the cars until then, so a rogue dealer couldn't even break the rules (at least here in OR/WA where the port holds them). If a First 86 car was not sold to the original winner then the dealership could still sell that particular car early, though.

My dealer almost sold my 1st86 out from under me (although not totally on purpose). SE Toyota sent them the wrong VIN for me, one that was coming to the dealership at a later date and had BeSpoke, mud guards and a whole bunch of other items thrown on top of it. I happened to stop into the dealership the same day that the correct one arrived (the one I'm driving now).

I told them I thought that VIN was mine (a 200# VIN, as opposed to a 700# VIN on the other car). The dealer basically told me they didn't care which one I took, but the one they had in their hands was going to be sold by the end of the day one way or the other. In fact, while I was there, they were rolling it onto the showroom floor.

Since it was a base car (no options) I had them put "Sold" on my baby and we worked it out.

Still haven't gotten my CF plate or my pin, by the way.

I called SOA yesterday and got a VIN and date. June 2nd. The dealer thinks they can probably deliver a little earlier than that. Only 2 more weeks.

I'm getting my car there too. do you know what number you were in line? Just wondering if I may be on this shipment or the next (or the next....).

I think I was 8 on the list, but my dealer said he put mine in a a little early. I'm thinking the color you order makes a difference.

Yes it does. I'm #1 at Chaplins but last Friday the 18th, some guy got his WRB before me. I guess GBS is super rare that I am lucky to be getting it on 6/6. Even looking at the list of colors on this thread, I am the only GBS.

I'm sure Ultramarine for the FR-S will flood the streets soon.

My delivery date got pushed back a couple days to June 4th. I called SOA just to see if there were any updates, and there was. Delivery moved from Saturday to Monday. I hope the dealer can still deliver on the weekend.

I just found out that the FR-S stash for the NW will be delivered to dealerships early this week. Late Tuesday or early Wednesday I should be watching my car come off the transport truck!

Got it today. Fun as hell. I agree it could use a bit more power though. Overall great.

I know. I will need to enlist a friend to take some pictures when the weather gets nicer.

I only seem to be able to locate my cell phone to take pictures with atm.
