All the time, mostly biker. But usually they just gas on when traffic light changes.

The one I remember the most is a Lifted F150 with off-road tires trying very very hard to race me 4 days after i picked up my car. Dude must have really small **** or just insecure as hell.

Bikers dont always try to race, they actually want to get out in front of traffic because its safer than being in between vehicles.

And the second statement is funny as well, I also have guys want to race with SUV's and 4x4s, I watch how they fall away on sharp bends, even with me doing only the speedlimit, they cannot corner anywhere near as hard as I can.

It is much safer to not be surrounded by the big machines that try to kill you.

Many, many of the bikers I see appear to be trying to kill themselves forget about the surrounded by big machines part. Every single day some jackass has to travel the line between lanes of traffic at almost twice the speed limit. If they crash then everybody will be screaming at the car driver for not watching for bikes.

But if you go fast enough they won't have enough time to hit you. And every time I've lane split at triple digits I've survived which means nothing will go wrong the next time, right? :P

I ride. Lane splitting, though illegal in our country, is extremely safe if done correctly and it reduces traffic in places which have a decent mc population. Not to mention it reduces the chance of being tailgaited and rearended by drivers who aren't paying attention.

You can lane split at triple the speed if you want, so long as two cars are side by side, you know the other person won't change lanes unless they are totally oblivious to the road. Check out Royaljordanian or some Californian motovlogger to see how safe, responsible lane splitting ought to be done.

That said, done incorrectly and it can be unsafe. Such as lane splitting when a car is in another's blind spot, you can get pegged there. Or if there are times when there's a car ahead and they change lanes. Looking ahead is key.

If they crash, and you can even look at the gtamotorcycle forum, it's their own fault and a lot of riders will for the most part side with the drivers unless they do something ridiculous like close the gap or open the door blatantly.

There's always a safe way of doing dangerous things, and a dangerous way of doing safe things. When people start labeling things as safe or dangerous they generally stop thinking about why something is or isn't safe, and when you stop thinking you have accidents.

I have made a very good living for the past 28 years based entirely upon that statement!

I had a Nissan Maxima cut me off and I followed of course cause ya know, race car. Also had a Golf rev past me which I also tailed on. Cut that short cause fuzz hang out a lot on that interstate. Aside from that, most tuner type cars and obviously modded ones seem to be interested at looking at the car. I tend to wave at them. They wave back

You guys get this a lot? people overtaking you on the roads? What you guys think...
People wanting to race you? Or you wanting to race others?

Considering you were "having fun" on a merging ramp, I'm guessing your intention seemed like an invite to a race.
