Couple of simple projects today: Adding the BRZ logo to the weatherteks and switching out the door lights for LED's. Also had to fix my PCV hose line connection to the Grimmspeed as I'd kind of accidently let the original get thrown away when we cleared the garage out the other day (threw the stock Intake hose away as I was running the Supertek prior to the Grimmspeed intake.

Still planning on doing some more mods, but the likelihood is that they will slow down a bit now as I need to preserve some money for upcoming projects around the house. Of course, I will update the thread as I do anything.

More parts arrived yesterday. (All the remaining exterior LED's for conversion, plus higher intensity low beam HID's. Plus something fun for the fog lights. Just ordered the front/rear spacers too.

Thanks, I've gone ahead and ordered a couple of minor things. It's definitely getting ready to slow down though now as most of the low price things are pretty much done at this point... Although that almost feels like famous last words.

As for installs today, I just installed the 6000K hid low beams and the Amber LED front turn signals. Still have the multicolor fogs to install, so that's going to likely end up being done over the weekend, but we'll see.

Decided to grab a shot of the boomerang DRL's today. Haven't been able to get one thusfar, this also shows the look of the lights with the LED turn signals (no amber in the lights anymore when they are turned off). We're having some pretty brutal fog out here right now too, so I figured the ambience made for a cool picture too.

Spent some time today installing my multi-colored fogs, as well as finishing off the detailing on her from the weekend (I didn't have tire blackener at the time). The fog install was interesting to say the very least (I'd ordered a bluetooth module, but it doesn't seem to work properly) plus the plugs on the lights were more than weak (2 of them broke off during the install). I'd definitely recommend the lights for the way that they look, but the quality of them (plus that fact that there is technically no installation instructions with them) makes it tough to say that it's a simple, quality install. This goes against everything else that I have got from Diode Dynamics as the quality of everything else has been great. Now I know that isn't the story for everyone, so I can't really complain about only have one issue over the course of every product that I've purchased from them. Anyways, with that out of the way let me get to the pictures:

Lastly and finally a shot of my Boomerang DRL's running.

Also, I guess I can't stop yet as I have about 7 or 8 more mods on order right now......

Had a go at trying to install the visors today. However they were shipped to me with almost no stick left on the 3M tape attached to them. Ended up ripping the tape off and ordering some more of my own (didn't have enough left to do both visors).

As the work on the BRZ was a disaster I ended up starting work on the wife's daily driver her 2015 Crosstrek. Have to say I was kind of jelous as to how this thing looked once I got the hood deflector (she's picked up some horrible stone chips on the hood in under 1200 miles since getting the car new). Not to mention the window visors for this thing just fit nice and simple

Had to snap a couple of pictures for posterity. Am hoping that she'll let me do a little work on the Crosstrek every now and then too. The fact that this thing is Crystal Black and comes with stock blacked out rims and tint makes me wonder why my BRZ couldn't have a nicer blacked out look on it from the dealer.

On the up side, the spacers look like they will be with me in a couple of days, the LED side markers arrived today, as did the battery tie down. It looks like the hella upgrade and the grille will be with me by next week. Can't wait.

Few more items arrived today: Spacers and side markers. Looks like the Grillecraft and the Supertone should be here by the weekend/start of next week. Just ordered another little something too: LED engine lights. Can't wait to get those going.

lol you keep on telling yourself to slow it down but it never slows down. I have the same problem, only reality check I get is when I look at my bank account.

Well I gave the wife control of the bank account when we moved to PA. So I have to limit myself somewhat. It is starting to slow down though now to be honest, because I'm getting the car to the point where I like the way it handles. After that I'll just get the lip kit installed and leave it at that for now. I contemplated dropping the car too, but with the pot holes around here after the winter we've just had I don't think it would be wise.

You'll be fine with a 1" drop from Eibach/Tein/TRD springs. I've hit plenty of rough spots in the road with a 1.2" drop w/o bottoming out.

So today was a good day. I got the smoked LED side markers installed and also kicked her out with spacers all around (25mm on the back and 20mm on the front). Have to say the difference with the spacers is truly amazing. I had 25mm on my CRZ originally, but only on the back, this time I chose to go all around with the BRZ and really do not regret that choice at all.

Well, I've just placed an order for the Chargespeed bottom line front lip, skirts and apron lips.

Probably likely just took the first step toward divorce!

Love the build thread my man. Love how it's subtle and still enough to make it stand out in a very nice way. May I ask where I may order those smoked side markers and what size bulb I should buy? I also want AMBER LED.
