I think it should be a requirement to read at least 2/3rds of the thread before putting your name on the list.

I read around 200 pages of it before coming up with my handful of questions, but most of them were clarifications.

One thing I never bothered to ask is if this kit plays nicely with Automatic FR-S transmissions? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I should ask just in case the OFT or the ESC have some caveats with the AT.

Yes works the same with autos. Tranny doesn't matter. Tune will differ thought, but Shiv has both available.

Hey @Robftss @fenton , can we correct the list?

It's 'murselyfe' rather than 'muselyfe'

Thanks!

Omg, lead time is 17 months lol. Rob definitely should hire some help to produce these kits faster, there's so much untapped money here.

I'm moving up the list! wait...

Also I had the idea to do some math last evening. Since people call this setup more like NOS than traditional FI, I was wondering how this setup compares price wise.

After checking out some forums, it seems a NOS setup is around $1000 depending on how big your tank is, wet / dry, etc.

The average NOS can is around 5 lbs, and the average cost per pound to refill is around $3-5. 5 pounds may give you a minute to a minute of half of NOS, so that means every minute you use it you average about $20.

So, with those ballpark figures this kit will pay for itself compared to NOS after about 60-65 full minute long boosts.

Granted compared to NOS you don't have to worry about "running out" for the rest of the day if you use it, I think most people will hit that 60 rather fast. With NOS it's always a question of "do I wait?" whereas with this it's more "is it recharged?"
