Where is the check valve being used on this kit. My kit didn't come with one originally but I just recently bought one for use with my catch can.

I'm using mine between the intake manifold and the crank breather. Crank should be vented but not able to see boost

I thought the crank breather hose was plumbed back in before the supercharger?

When car is cold use gates carbon drive to set the frequency to I think (check the specs) 60-61hz (pinch the belt as close to the center as you can get and try to get consistent readings on the app). Keep in mind that when you tighten the pulleys bolt it will also increase tension a bit, so it's pita to set it exactly to 60hz.

I'm looking at buying this kit and trying to decide between the C30 and C38.

What's the risk with the C38 - pushing the stock motor to the limit? What's needed (recommended) to run it? I assume upgraded injectors, a tune, possibly a fuel pump. I would prefer not to pop my motor and/or run the system in an inefficient way. I have 93 octane here and that's what I would be running. Sorry If this has already been discussed to death in the thread.

The decision lies with what your goal is. The C30 will top out at 280 close to 300 whp with 93 octane with a good tune. Goes a good amount past 300 with E85 which is pretty good with upgraded injectors and a fuel pump.

The C38 on the other hand goes 400+ and most would tell you to build your engine. I'm not sure how well it runs at a lower level to keep you from getting too much power/torque in comparison to the C30. The C38 just has that upper expandibility so unless you plan on building your engine and going nuts, I would stick with the C30 and have some fun with E85.

Depends on how much money you want to spend. A C30 on a stock motor with E85 will put you over 300whp, and there are others running the C38 on a stock motor with E85 pushing close to 400whp. I dont know many that are running the C38 on the stock engine with 93 pump gas. If you're going to go that route I would build the engine and drop the compression. I would say a felxfuel tune and the C30 would be pretty good for a DD. That way when you want more (and you probably will) you can just top off with E85 and go have fun.

Just keep in mind all the power will be up at the top and there isnt much down low with centrifugal superchargers.

I just installed my Kraftwerks supercharger kit over the weekend. Only issue not covered in the install was the evap lines. They really need to be secured better.

Now that my evap is figured out I only have one issue. My maf when plugged in kills the motor. I cannot start the motor when it's plugged in. I need ideas on wether it just needs replaced or if it's part of the base tune sent with the tuning kit.

Love the car ten times more now!

Anyone else running catch-cans? Here is my drivers side can after 1 track day at Chuckwalla (~120 minutes of track time) and ~2,000 miles after that.

Mostly fuel-smelling liquid with some sludge floating and covering the bottom. The scary part is that this is max fill once screwed on...eeks.

I'm running the c38 on the stock motor and stock fuel injectors and pump. I am running a 91 Octane tune and a I also have a 93 tune. I will be doing some logging this week but so far everything feels great. Yes it's way under utilized but it runs fine.

Call kraftwerks USA 951.808.9888

I believe all supplied tunes are now SD and not hybrid like they were. But call them just to double check.
