Man I'm supposed to be sending my kit to Rob for the upgraded compressor wheel and controller, but I'm having a hard time convincing myself to be without this for any period of time.

For the price, this kit has changed my life haha. Maybe I'll work up the courage to ship it off tomorrow and be ready for partial throttle boost when it hits!

I was just going to complain about being so far away and that it sucks to be way down here in sunny SoCal, but then realized how "first world problems" that sounds.

Next time in L.A. / OC, I may see if you're free to give me a test drive. I have a good idea of what to expect but I'd love to experience it first hand just to see how magical it really is.

Funny, but this "dialogue" was enough to sway me on the ESC. I just pm'd Rob to add me to the list. 17 months is just about right for me since that's when the warranty expires. I briefly drove a Phantom equipped car last year so I know what this thing can do, and that was just v1.0. I'll just sit patiently and see how it evolves by the time I get it.

Yeah, the wait will be worth it! I debated on getting another phantom since I was forced to sell my first one but I'm impatient and not sure I want to wait. I was lucky enough to get in on the first kits as an early adopter originally lol product is top notch

It's simple, if you don't like it, move along. IF product have something to debate about, go for it... but wanna talk about how they should run their business, do it in off-topic section.

Some members are willing to wait for the product? Sure, go for it. They see something worth wait for. Some members aren't willing to wait for the product? Sure move along to find better fit their need. Don't need to argue.

I can't imagine the wait will be 17 months just so everyone knows. The last kits were delivered on a 8 to 10 month total wait.

Remember Rob is also working with the miata crew and upgrading existing users kits to V2 if they request.

Thanks to everyone for the support...being a part of this community is the most rewarding part of phantom ownership.

I think we should reset this extremely long thread. We need a place for developments, experiences, etc without 500+ posts of people asking the same questions because they can't read through the 386 pages of info. There's probably a lot of confusion too because this has been in development so long that many things have changed.
