Sorry guys. Had to make a last minute change to the Template File. The new one (Template 7.1) is now available for download on our website: http://openflashtablet.com/Automotiv...ads/index.html

You will need this template for the new feature to be available.

Cheers,
shiv

Just tested it, works great

Make sure to wait the 30 seconds or so for the engine to warm/cycle down, then try.

Got the 7.1 template and tried it. It really doesn't work when the engine is cold. It is there on the screen though. I'll have to try it in the rain tomorrow. Woo hoo!

Glad it's working for you guys. The OFT will tell you if the traction control module is receptive to the Pedal Dance Mode command. If if it, the command will be successful. If not, the OFT will give you a communication error because it didn't get confirmation from the TC module.

It does indeed work on a cold engine. But you will have to wait until idle speed reduces to 800rpm or so. This may take 30-60 seconds depending on temp and conditions.

To be honest, I don't ever expect to have any type of auto-blip gimmick to be added to the OFT mapping. The worst thing that can happen from using such a feature is never learning to use the 3 pedals properly. 6mt won't be around for ever. Enjoy it while u can!

I will agree with you about handling the third pedal correctly. Where as I can appreciate a nicely made MT vehicle, the AT has come a long way since ('71) when I started driving. That being said, I still have the desire to own a MT twin. Test drove both and found them both very exciting.
Realistically, I want to thank you for all the new looks and toys since last fall. The Garage Queen is waiting for the chance to play and I'm excited by the additional functions.

with me at least, you have to update the template file, then re update the tablet itself or you get a weird protocol error on start up.

Updated my OFT last night, tried it this morning. I found as soon as the idle was under ~1000rpm it would work, didn't have to be fully settled to a warm idle around 800rpm.

That sounds like a reason this is better than the manual way!
