Anyone with oil pressure gauge? I installed mine last night and I put the oil pressure and temp sensor both on the Ptuning oil cooler. The temp is reading fine but the pressure is always at 100psi

Either sender is damaged, or connection is loose or its not properly grounded.

Ok, thanks. I will double check my wirings
I read on forum some people are tapping their oil pressure sensor into the oil galley? I was wondering if putting the pressure sensor on the oil cooler itself was wrong

I have the innovate oil pressure/ temp sensor hooked up to the oil cooler. The pressure shows 100 when during cold start, and will eventually come back down when the car warms up.

Edit: This copy and paste explains better than I can.

"When and engine starts, all the oil is in the sump and the oil pressure is zero. The pump cannot begin to deliver oil or generate oil pressure until it has sucked up cold oil through the filter screen and the pick up tube. Hence, cold start lubrication is greatly assisted by having a short, wide pick up tube and oil that has very good cold flow properties.

When the oil reaches the pump it is then forced through the filter and then through the engine. However, as the oil is still cold and the oil channels are very narrow, flow is slow and a large back pressure develops so that the pressure Gauge registers a dramatic pressure increase.

As the oil circulates and warms up, it flows faster and the oil pressure declines to a stable level. It is only at this point that the engine is being properly lubricated. Until stable oil pressure is obtained wear rates are high due to inadequate oil delivery to the wearing surfaces. Under cold start conditions, a "good" oil is one which gives stable oil pressure the fastest."

Hey guys, I will be making the trip to PTuning to get my PTuning turbo kit installed along with other parts. I will be leaving this coming Sunday night April 12 around midnight. It's about an 8hr drive for me but I'm super pumped about it. This will be my first legit build and I'm having them do the install because I want it done right. Their customer service is excellent, I've been emailing them with any questions I have since August of last year with quick replies every time. I have requested to have them send me some pictures during the build and I will be reporting the progress with pictures and a final dyno video with numbers they should have the install and tune done by April 21.

Here is the list of things I have held at PTuning and having them install:

*PTUNING Turbo Kit (Black)
*PTUNING 4-1 Header
*PTUNING Turbo Back Exhaust
*ECU & Fueling Package
*PTUNING Oil Cooler w/ Gauge Adapter
*Koyo Radiator
*Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit
*Exedy Lightened Flywheel
*PTUNING SS Braided Teflon Clutch Line Kit
*AEM Digital Boost Gauge
*AEM Digital Oil Pressure Gauge
*AEM Digital Wideband AFR Gauge w/ Failsafe
*PTUNING EBCS
*PTUNING Windshield Washer Reservoir Kit

Near Future Upgrades:

-PTUNING adjustable rear sway bar and end links
-wheels and tires (Gramlights 57Xtreme 17x9 with Hankook RS3 tires 245/40/17)
-coilovers (not sure what ones yet)
-some kind of brake upgrade (whether it be pads, lines, and fluid, or BBK)

Also, if anyone has been using the Exedy stage 2 cerametallic clutch please let me know how the drivability is. Feel free to chime in if there is anything to look out for with this kit as well.

I couldn't tell the difference between the stage 2 clutch and a normal clutch. Granted I've only driven the car less than 1k miles with the stage 2 in it, but it is VERY easy to drive. Seriously, it's a no brainer to have it.

I will arrive at the shop around when they open on the 13th, but I plan on getting a rental car while I'm there. I will be staying there the whole week until my car is done. I could give you a heads up when i get into town or later that day. I might need to get some rest before hand since I'll be driving through the night but yeah dude anytime.
