So I have 2 questions.

1. Do you have any plans to develop maps for Cosworth SC?

2. Which header and exhaust setup do you recommend with Jackson Racing SC? I think it would be best to get parts combination under your recommendation in order to get the best possible tune. I prefer UEL header, BTW, as I just love the rumbling sound. :p
Hello,

1. We've actually already tuned a couple Cosworth kits out there, good kit and nice numbers. Very flat torque corve just like Innovate, but more power everywhere.

2. With the Jackson kit, if you prefer UEL we'd recommend either the Tomei UEL or the JDL UEL if you prefer to spend a bit more on a product with very high build quality. After the header the exhaust combo is really up to your preference in sound.

Sincerely,

Zach

Had my car on the Dyno Sunday. Finally got to see what the AVO kit with Bill's latest tune could do.

First pass ebcs was set at 12PSI rest were 9.

We had 2 turbo FRS at the dyno that day one OFT with the SBD kit and my AVO with Delicious Flash n Go. The other car only hit 221HP but was just running the stock 7psi wastegate spring.

Love this car on the street right now.

As everyone is noticing we have spent a lot of time developing this tune over the past year and half now. We are still refining it and we even daily drive this tune every day now on our personal forced induction vehicle (Innovate Supercharger).

So we are working out all the small drivability issues, such as heavy traffic, cruising, mpg while making sure to get the optimal power out of the vehicle for all configurations. It is no easy task but something we continue to improve upon.

Current updates we are working on is a completely new boost control system. This is going to be pretty cool for you turbo owners. More on that coming after SEMA.

Cheers,
William Knose

So forgive me for being thick headed, but this is essentially an intermediary tune, better than a base map but not as good as a dyno tune *without additional revisions, meant for the turbo kit with whatever supporting mods we have at the time of initial purchase? Are 4 different "Flash N Go" maps included in the original tune purchase?
More specifically, I'll be running the SBD turbo kit with EBC and full 2.5 catless exhaust, but I may also replace the air filter and plumb colder air with homemade heat shielding around the filter. With a setup as specific as this how many revisions would I need to purchase to get me a solid 250whp on 91 and 300 WHP on 93? Please feel free to PM if you prefer. I'm just trying to determine what the value of this is compared to just running a base tune until I can get a dyno session scheduled. Thanks

Hello,

Essentially the Flash & Go is a tune that we've spent over a year developing to work with almost any forced induction kit on the market. It would be unfair to call it a base tune, as those don't require even a sliver as much effort to create. Our Flash & Go is to the point that if one were to run it, and then say go in for custom dyno tuning from us, the differences would be there, but would not be large at all. Quite simply it works, and it works very very well. I'd recommend using the gold heat tape versus heat shielding on the intake.

As far as your power goals, 250whp is easily within reach for the SBD kit on 91 on a Dynojet, and I'd expect anywhere between 280 and 300whp on 93 on the same Dynojet. This will depend also on weather, humidity, etc. We had a customer just a couple days ago with a Greddy kit, which is very similar as you know, make about 370whp. That was on E85. He would actually make more if he changed over to an EBC from his MBC and had tires that weren't slipping on the dyno. And that was a standard Flash & Go with no revisions, just to give an idea.

Sincerely,

Zach

Hey thanks Zach,
I'll be in touch when the time comes. My local guy is really busy, and this seems like a perfect option. Almost too good to be true, so I had to ask. Thanks for your R&D efforts.

Greddy Turbo 364rwhp 299rwtq 11.6psi Flex Fuel

Just wanted to post the results of my flash & go tune for my Greddy turbocharged BRZ. I have a customized Greddy kit and this tune makes it absolutely amazing to drive. It feels like this car was meant to be turbo from day one. It made 364.9rwhp and 299rwtq on 11.6 lbs of boost, running 72% ethanol.

The dyno pull pictured in the graph below was started a little late. The pulls from 2500rpms up made peak torque at 3400rpms. After I get better wheels/tires, a better EBC setup, and a good 85% ethanol mixture, I will be back with better numbers at 15psi. The customer service and tune are fantastic! Nothing but good things to say. You can't go wrong with this tune.
