There isn't with -2+* camber, but +35 wheels poke with stock camber.

245/40/17's here on my 17x9 rpf1s. Perfect match. My michelins in this size offer decent curb protection too, you will rub the tire before you grind your wheel.

The thing you really need to be focused on is the offset. 5 mill spacers up front on 17x9 +45 barely pokes at all. Really a 17x9 +40 is what you get with the 5mm spacer, is perfect, just shy of poking. It sits right in the edge.
Tire size is fairly simple, 245-40 or 255-40 will be just fine.

What if wheels are chosen for track setup, BBK and coilovers on car too, assuming 245/40/17 are used, +35 or +45?

They differ my 10mm. It's always easier to add a 5mm spacer or a 3mm, it you really want the wheels out farther.

It's really a matter of personal preference.
+45= 10mm more inside the wheel well.
+35= 10mm more outside

I have no rubbing issues. I have 17x9 +45 with 245 40 hankooks. A 5mm spacer up front and it's all good.
