I once kicked a tempered glass tabletop and it didnt break (right away).
But it started emitting a very high pitched squeal for about 10 seconds then exploded. Cool but messy & expensive...

Hit tempered glass from the side/edges (where it's weakest) and it shatter!

As in you don't need to slam the door in order for cabin to seal.

"Well to tell you the truth, I am sincerely gonna be honest, up front, open and not hide a thing from you on this, really I swear."

A (to the best of my memory) direct quote from the Sales manager at Mitsu when I was in the middle of a dispute with them.

I get what they're saying- really they're saying "I'm not gunna hold back and tell it to you how it is"

so i spent the past 3 hours vacuuming glass from every crevice of this car. had a bunch of glass inside the sheetmetal under the rear deck that was impossible to access.

Anyways, I noticed that there are vents in the rear trunk area that lead to the bumper. they were as clean as a whistle, so I think those being clogged up rules that out as a possible cause for the broken window (assuming the pressure of the doors could shatter a rear window).
