Told me my new one will be shipped out by this weekend so hopefully I have it next week.
I opened up my RMA but decided to get a refund. Just not worth the headache for me right now. I was pretty shocked at how poorly made the module is. Take a look.

The black silicone adhesive was so thick, the bottom cover for the module wouldn't snap on, no matter how much force was applied.

The rest of the kit was great. All the OEM connectors and plugs were wired up well and looks durable.

I'm going to hold off on purchasing this kit until all the kinks are worked out.

I had the same problem with two of the modules. Both opened at the midline seam. Phil said that's the way they are and not to worry about it. He said to superglue the two halves together and the module is warranted for 3 years.
I tried the superglue. That seems to hold things together. I also snugged up two cable ties around it just to make sure. I haven't installed it in my car yet. If it doesn't work I'll just get a refund and wait for them to iron out the quality control issues.
For those of you who have already installed this module check the seam on it to make sure it hasn't split open.

Did you use wheel spacers or did you just mount them on without any mods?

You have no problems with rubbing or anything of that sort? I want to go higher in size, but i'm worried about rubbing.

I have stock suspension and 17x7 wheels (USDM STI wheels).

No rubbing issues at all. The spring rate on the coils are fairly stiff at 8kg and I have the damping two clicks off the stiffest setting

stock suspension will rub on his wheels and tires. I almost couldn't fit my 17x9 +40 wrapped in 245's on the stock suspension.

That looks AWESOME! I love it! I plan on doing this, but I can't for the life of me find the right DIY for this. If you can link me, it'd be great! I want to do this on my tails.

That looks great. Nice alternative for those that don't want redded lenses.
