just get an extension OBD cable and run it up to the cupholder area...

makes things a ton easier and saves the flimsy ass OBD connector on our vehicle from damage- it's increasingly obvious the part wasn't meant for such heavy use

Which is funny because my 2005 Corolla's ODB2 port is much more durable!

btw, how do we update template files? I get 87942 template file errors when I try to view real-time data logs.

step 1. Download template file from OFT website downloads page

step 2. Connect OFT and fire up OFM

step 3. "Upgrade" or "Update" (next to upload data), selecting the template file you downloaded off the site

Great stuff Shiv.

As a Canadian vendor of your OpenFlash products, I'm very happy with the continued progress and support for our members.

No this will effectively turn off ALL electronic driver aids, used as a diagnostic mode for manufacturers we use it to disable ABS and traction completely along with any other driver aids that would normally kick in even if you hold the trac button for 5sec.

ABS stays ON. It disables pretty much everything else like panic braking, ICE mode, EBD, traction, stability, etc.

If you have not done the pedal dance before, I highly recommend you try it somewhere remote. The nannies in the FR-S/BRZ are quite good, and running without them can be a surprise. The car will "depart controlled flight" in a heartbeat after doing the dance.

x2 with Tromatic

I used to drive 97 Miata and it had no ABS or traction control and other control aid tech. unless you know the vehicle, i wouldnt just try this on public road. try Pedal dance on safe environment area and learn from it.
