Bought a 2015 limited white BRZ about 24 hours ago. Beautiful car... Was going to replace my aging Z28 with another muscle car, but I got the brz and enough left over to supercharge it after break-in. Love the way it handles & shifts too. Hoping for a long healthy relationship, me and my Ruby

Hi everyone! I traded in my wrb 2002 WRX hatch for a "used" 2013 Ultramarine FRS this past November. I was set on a wrb BRZ for the past couple of years, but issues with the WRX forced me to pull the trigger a little earlier than planned. Unfortunately, at that time the only used BRZs in my area were silver and that color doesn't fit my taste. The "used" FRS had less than 2K miles, a very good price, and once I saw/drove it I was sold.

It was kind of a present to myself after successfully relocating back to the US with the Mrs (worked in Saitama, Japan for 6 years), getting a masters, landing a full-time job, and passing the CPA exam. "I love it when a plan comes together" haha. We also had a kid in January, but that was after I got the FRS locked down (wife has the family car, 2010 Impreza hatchback).

It will mainly be used as a daily-driver, but I'm planning to hit up my first auto-x this spring and want to keep it in the stock class. Only minor cosmetic mods have been done so far...
-Perrin 4 inch antenna
-JDM sidemarkers
-Cobb knob (black/red)
...and a set of black Work Kiwami's (17x7 +47) are on the way.

Cheers

so this car out of the box is a wonderful, but first things first tires and rims. I do not like the rims, and these tire no no no no no. and probably just exhaust for now. i just want the car to sound a little better. in a year or so i plan to turbo, but id like to just enjoy it for what it is now. it is to be my summer fun car, so i hope i run into other fr-s/brz owners and get some advice and or opinions.

It was my first new car purchase and I had the hardest time picking a color. My roommate bought one in Ultramarine, I already have a red weekend car and the only other bright choice was Hot Lava. At first I didn't know if it would work for me but after cleaning it up and seeing it shine, I knew I made the right choice.

Hey guys,
Just picked up my frs a few days ago, trying real hard to pace myself as far as mods. Seems like an awesome forum with a ton of great information.

Upgrading from my turbo charged Corolla:

Hey!

2015 Halo FR-S, manual, got the keys in mid-February. Had to wait for it to arrive from Japan since I could not find a manual Halo or Raven without extras on it - I did not like Scion's rear spoiler. On the plus side, it had only 7 miles on it

My first car since I moved to CA / South Bay half a year ago. Back in Greece I used to drive an RX-8 and before that a C1 - that little city Citroen thing.

The car has been amazing. Handles great, which is the most important thing to be honest. Power has been enough for me so far, we'll see whether that changes when I start visiting tracks. It also looks good

This forum has been an invaluable source of information about the car, thank you all for maintaining such an awesome community

My only nit with the car so far has been how it reacts to the uneven roads around here, thankfully I found all the information I needed about possible solutions in this forum, will try out the first one this weekend

Nice to meet you all!

As you can probably tell by my post count, I'm new here. My names Nic and I don't own a BRZ, FRS, etc. I'm planning on purchasing one in the next few months. Currently I drive a super sweet Mazda Miata. With old age and growing responsibility, using such an older(and every impractical) car as a daily has definitely taken it's toll on me. Don't get me wrong, I love my Miata. I just want something a little bit more reliability and that has a few more amenities.

Anyways, I might pull the trigger in a few months, but who knows. I might buy a Cayman if I can handle the insurance/maintenance.

Until then, here are some pictures of my Miata.

P.S. If you're a Miata guy, keep this a secret from the guys on MR.net and CR.net. I don't wanna break their hearts.

Semi-new to the forum but never posted in the newb section. Bought my black 2015 BRZ 6spd limited in January. I've put on almost 3k miles on it so far and I still really enjoy the car.
I was trying to hold out for a factory turbo option, but I finally gave in and bought one anyways.
Don't have any major mechanical plans anytime soon due to warranties and such, but I've already bought a CF Abflug style spoiler, tinted the windows and I'm installing a backup camera.
