New e-brochure for the Canadian FR-S

Just stumbled upon this e-Brochure from the Scion website:

http://s3.amazonaws.com/scion.site.p...on_FR-S_en.pdf

Was watching TV last night and saw the FR-S commercial at least 3 times. They're coming!!!!

Thanks.

Not bad, but not exactly up to the standard set by the new BRZ e-brochure. First mention I have seen of 3 years of roadside assistance, good to see.

Noticed the different pedals and RPM gauge (black instead of white) on p. 7/12. Hmmm... are we actually getting these?

not sure about these, i thought we were getting the white tach. It also claims the seats to have the red accents and stitching previously believed to be excluded for us Canadians....

The brochure also notes "shift position indicator - Automatic only". I guess it's not a feature for the manual car after all?

Nope. Scion Canada obviously wanted to downplay the white tach for a more-conservative Canadian audience so they photoshopped the pics to get rid of the white - but you can see it on the distance shot through the driver's open door on page 6.

And shipping FR-Ss do not have the extended gas pedal, that is only on the prototypes. They left it in the brochure photo though because it looks racier. Scion Canada is not exactly a paragon of honesty here, is it?

I can confirm the seats have red bolsters. Also there is red stiching on both the wheel and the shift knob.

I've driven an FR-S manual in White about 2 weeks ago. It was very nice.

If I remember correctly, I think the tach was black. But I'm not 100% sure.

EDIT: now I'm thinking it was white. I don't really remember the tach color. I would guess whatever the US is getting, we are also getting. Just KPH instead of MPH of course.

Drove the same car as well, loved it. The tach was white for sure and there's actually a small button left of the wheel that changed between kph and mph..
