What exhaust should I go for?
It's time to get rid of the stock exhaust.
Any recommendations on what I should get? |

Fucking god dammit are you serious. I try so hard to not be Koa - I really do - but for fucks sake: SEARCH FIRST. There is literally, LITERALLY, a whole thread dedicated to what exhaust to buy. More than one! Thousands of threads! Not to be a **** or anything, but man - Everyone has their own preferences and recommendations, and we've ALL talked about it. A LOT. |

There are multiple threads for this.
This is how you search for them: Go to google Search for Scion FRS/ Subaru BRZ exhaust Look through any link you can possibly find If you want to get more specific, search "site:ft86club.com exhaust" What I did, was I went to ft86speedfactory.com found a couple exhausts I liked the look of, listened to sound clips, made a short list of the ones I wanted then looked for reviews of them. However, without a budget, without knowing how loud you want your exhaust, without knowing the kind of style (straight pipe, muffled, single exit, dual exit, etc.) it's kind of hard to help you narrow it down. I've had 3 exhausts on the car. OEM (looked nice, but too quiet), cheap eBay one (Spec-D Tuning, was overall happy with it, but I wanted something in a single exit and louder) and now I have a Tomei Expreme Ti 60R which I am beyond pleased with. This is a freebie, although @Koa may not be so kind. |

Youtube is your friend. I searched and listened to a ton of videos until I was sure the TRD was the sounds that I liked the most. everyone can give their opinions, but in the end, your ears are the the ones that need to approve. Some like the Berk delete kit, some like Tcoat and me prefer the TRD, others the Invidia Q300, etc, etc. Do your own research.

Ok now that OP has been thoroughly spanked!
@CS4 as you can see your question leaves a bit do be desired. If you truly want a different exhaust just do some basic research. We have zero clue what your goals are for your car and by asking such an open ended question you really will not get anything but the responses you have received. Head over to the exhaust sub forum and take a look. If you still have questions then just jump in there and ask. But... think through your question first as silly valueless questions can and as you have seen will receive answers of equal value.

Do you ever get the feeling that people create accounts just to post something that gets all of us a bit..... heated?

the only reason why nasioc community harps, 'search, search, search' over starting new threads is because the forum is now so congested, that knowledge and good discussions are mired and less visible in-between the hundreds of one off duplicate threads... most don't get it until their community is too late.
Mods here have a hard enough time clearing couple-week-old For Sale threads, much less cleaning more ambiguous clutter, so just food for thought |

Usually can tell if they ever come back! I am totally shocked at the number of people that will go to the trouble of making an account just to post one thread and never are seen again. I guess it is pure entertainment to them somehow.
