Great, another unit that gives ACTUAL functioning ESC a bad name.

Someone bought it though, so PT Barnum was correct...

Here's another one, made by a very reputable company. Now obviously these aren't production ready or nearly complete, or as refined as Rob's. However, they're still very interesting and with some work and development could potentially be great products from the look of it.

This one is legitimate but look at the cost. For $2495 you get the equivalent of Rob's developer kit. That's just the compressor, motor and controller. It's up to you to custom make a mount, an actuation switch, battery holder and a tune. Plus the batteries.
With Rob's kit all the work has already been done for you. It's pretty much just plug and play. It just takes a lot of patience to obtain. But when your time finally comes you won't be disappointed.

I agree completely. I just think it's neat there are other companies out there making these. I wouldn't order any of them personally, but just think it's neat.

Easy guys, there are other developers out there. Some junk, some not. To belittle someone's efforts isn't very appropriate. This Turbodyne kit reminds me of the EZ Boost kit, E-Bay trash. Where as T. Knight's traditional SC, there are possibilities. Some food for thought, Valeo has a version of the centrifugal SC in development that is being considered by Volvo. Rob's efforts are well supported and appreciated.

First post updated!

Talked to Rob, we won't be posting the waiting list. It tends to create a lot of drama, people contacting others and purchasing their spots in line and whatnot.

If you are very interested in your position in line(approx) send a PM to me and i will give you a estimate.

Let me know if anyone sees any glaring problems with my update to post 1.. Hopefully not to many mistakes.

Cheers all, more kits going out this month!

I asked earlier but no one answered

Is there a plan to start producing these kits in larger numbers? Or is the lead time just going to consistently be 6-8 months.

correct me if i am wrong but Rob(developer) has another job and this is another project he's doing and probably not going to produce in large batch.
