I got my used base model 2013 BRZ with about 13000kms from Subaru of Kingston last year. I dealt with Peter and I liked him fine but I wanted him to drop 2k from the asking price and he wouldn't at the time. That said, he called me a month later and the car is mine now. =)
Regarding the trade in, I'd never consider trying to trade in a Lexus to a Hyundai or Subaru dealership considering neither brand has anything to do with luxury cars. There is just no way I'd get close to what I wanted for it. |

I really liked Peter. He wasn't pushy and knew what he was talking about. But I had to deal with an older guy (forgot the name) and he was a disappointment.
I know trying to trade in a LX is not the smartest thing to do, but that doesn't mean that they can mistreat me. I asked them if they were willing to consider it and they said yes. It was more trying to get an idea where I was standing as far as value. But the blew it. They even said they would call back, but didn't. Otto had no problem with my Lexus and were more the happy to work out a deal. It's all water under the bridge now anyway. This time next week I will be sitting in my BRZ drooling all over my Alcantara

Thanks again!
![]() I had to go to Ottawa today to make some financial arrangements and decided to drop off my plates. I bought the BRZ without my wife knowing so it gave her the chance to see it too. It is a pretty big dealership and my sales rep wasn't sure where mine was. So we ended up in a workshop where I almost had a heart attack. There was a white BRZ still wrapped in plastic and partly masked off with a repainted rear bumper. I could still smell the paint. It was not to be mine (thank god) so the search went on. Once outside he was happy to point out another white one, so we looked at it until I noticed that it was an automatic. In the end it turned out that mine was at the detailing shop which was not on that location. So all was good and it is still a go for Tuesday. On Wednesday morning it is gone again for a window tint and a Krown treatment. I am already planning a little road trip for next weekend. Can't wait !!
