Yeah, I was reading about the premature wear on the flex joints due to wrapping them. My plan is to contact Chris, but I know hes super busy right now and hes out of town.

Hey guys,

Yeah, I understand this is a temporary fix and not recommended as a long term solution. I will try to get a hold of Chris to see if he can help and post this as FYI in the SBD kit forum.

I just accepted it and ran the A/C on recirculate when I was at a stop or in stop and go traffic. An exhaust leak in the area of the overpipe could also allow exhaust gasses to take a similar path to where the fresh air is grabbed for the A/C system.
Yeah my D3PE catch can makes race car smells. Windows down and you smell everything. I also have a lot of ventilation openings around the front so the smell is even stronger than normal.

Guys, I'm at TX2K in Houston.

We've been closed for the past week and will reopen on Monday.

As soon as I get a chance, I'll respond.

If you have an issue with the manifold, call my cell at 405-309-9723.

I'll notify Zage today.

I've seen several installs now that are leaking at the aftermarket overpipe to downpipe connection. I can't guarantee your specific aftermarket overpipe will be compatible, hence why we suggest Motiv brand overpipe and frontpipes.

Fitment has been rock solid.

If your issue is indeed a flex joint issue, I'll contact Zage and make them aware.

Instead of complaining on a forum, pick up the phone and call me....or email me.

I don't spend all day on the forums, don't have time for it, as I own multiple automotive companies.

It's amazing what happens when you dial 10 digits.

My cell is 405-309-9723.

I've never hidden that. Just takes making the effort beyond a forum post.

If I had a kit and was having this problem I would have. I assumed probably against my better judgment that at least one of the buyers did contact you and just thought it was odd their was no input. Didn't know you weren't at the shop either. PersonallyI love the kit, its unbeatable for the price point.

I'm here guys.

We have a Facebook Group with over 150 members, where you can easily reach me.

Or just type out an email, PM, or drop me a phone call at 405-309-9723.

I don't get on FT86Club every day, as I run multiple businesses and do the best I can.

Your fastest response will come from our Facebook Group, as that goes to my cell phone...
