Not a fan of mine either... Might try the just white light trick though. That wouldn't bother me so much. The blue is a little 2 fast 2 furious for me...

would you consider selling the scion emblem if you do that? I am getting a carbon fiber trunk and I would love to keep the stock 10 series glowing logo on both

If I were to rebadge my car, I would totally get that lol

I personally love our Scion badges. Not sure why rebadging them to Toyota is so popular. People in Japan put Scion badges on their Toyotas

Sparks Toyota sells a lightup badge in 3 different colors for $20. All it needs is existing wiring, check...

Something about the fake chrome of the Toyota badge that's classy.

10 Series' have a killer paint job. No need for tacky items that detract.

Understand before you screw these emblems up which wasn't posted in that other thread they cost almost $400.00 each to replace.

I didn't think I was going to like them but they do grow on you over time so my advice is to wait a few weeks before removing or cutting them off.

Now as for another compay making one to work like the 10 Series emblem I don't think it will happen anytime soon.
The emblems are wired into the cars harness to work with the key fob and there's two sets of LED's that lights them up.

This was helpful, but does anyone have the sheet for the dash display? Mine stopped working a while ago (No proof but I think the stereo guy knocked something loose). I find that it annoys me that even though it is normally off, it doesn't work if I want it to.

very likely that the guy tore the ribbon cable coming from the illuminated dash panel.
when I installed my headunit, I immediately noticed it uses a ribbon instead of wires and thought this is gonna tear on some people who aren't careful.

Nope.
Thanks to the docs you provided, I figured out that he disconnected the power/signal connector from the add-on harness that provided power to the controller and passed the stereo signal through, probably so he could get better access to the regular harness. When he put the radio back, he left the controller harness out of the loop. It is functional again, so I can have it off by choice, not because it's broken.

I have a 10 Series car and my front bumper needs repainting - does anyone know if the existing lighted badge can be removed and reused without issue when the bumper get repainted?

Yes, so long as the shop is careful.
