Thanks for all your info. Does anyone know if I would need to jack up the motor to reach ignition coil #2. I apparently replaced #4 and it was a very tight fit. #2 looks almost impossible to get too the way it is. |

I can confirm from experience that you can replace coil pack #2 WITHOUT lifting the engine. Remove the black steel shield that covers the left bank injectors to gain more room. You will need to remove the bracket that holds the 3 fuel lines to the left strut apron to give enough room to weasel out the shield. Once those are out of the way, you should have enough room to get your arm down there to replace #2.

I've been getting the p0352 code randomly, so I decided to look up the coil pack today and see if the 15 models have a different part #.. Turns out that they do..
the 15 brz part # is 22433AA730 where as the 13 part # is 22433AA652 Has anyone tried this new one? |

I reset mine but it hasn't come back on. I did order an extra coil just in case.

So today I got the 2015 BRZ coil pack, part #22433AA730. I got it home and got to removing the stock coil pack. When I got it out and compared the '13 part to the '15 part I discovered that the plugs are different. The 15 plug is triangular in shape with 2 pins on one side and 1 on top, where as the 13 part the pins just lay side by side. Dimensionally they are identical.
So it seems that the only way this would work, is if we could find the 15 brz plug and repin it on the 13-14. |

Ok, so I've been chasing around a P0354 code ever since I did my turbo install. Does anyone know if a P035x can be triggered by a bad spark plug? Also, has anyone had to of had an ECM replaced because of P035x codes? I'm going through troubleshooting right now. I swapped coil pack positions #2 and #4 and my code remains at #4. I checked connector voltage on pin 1 and it's correct. Ground is good on pin 2. I have yet to check pin 3. Tonight I'm gonna attempt to check the plug without jacking the engine....

Ok, got it out of #4. It wasn't too hard to do with the right tools. No need to jack engine. If you can do coils, you can do plugs... Here's what my #4 looks like...

Someone has a diy on how to replace the coil pack #1?
The maintenance manual is suggesting to lift the motor, but I guess this is not required from what I can read?

I get this same code today while driving 70mph on the highway in 6th gear. I flashed it myself and didn't turn back on immediately on the short drive home. I'll see if it stays off but I should be good for now either way right? Can't have my car break down on the way to work tonight hahah daily driver probs haha
