Yeah they could still have the show...James & Richard are superb. Honestly they could do the show with just those 2.

Jeremy is awesome, but cancelling a show because of him is a bit ridiculous

I'm not sure they would do a show with just the 2 of them though, all the Top Gear's have 3 presenters so it would be weird with just 2. By chance if they DO fire him, I think they would probably hire another person (preferably well known) to take his place. At this point its so early we just can't tell what will happen..

99% sure his contract prevents the show from going on without him. No Clarkson = No top gear. Termination clauses and all that. Or rather, while it's not airing, he's still being paid until they find a replacement for him.

I'm a Clarkson fan, but honestly I enjoy the other two just as much, each in a different way. In fact, I tend to like their solo segments better than Clarkson's as his tend to always be, "look I can drift a car and that's all that matters".

Besides, I've already completed my application to replace him should they need someone to step up. It would give the other two an American target, and I could act like they think an American would act so I could do what Clarkson does and get away with it easier. "Oh that American, always such an ass, just like everyone else there".

Actually, I think that is an awesome idea. Instead of JC, a stereo-typical American (arrogant, egotistical, self-centered blah blah blah) in the BBC top gear I think would make for good television.

He's predictably the butt of the jokes from the other two. Sort of a Stan Laurel to the other two's Oliver Hardy(s).
