oh... that's not surprising... yet unexpected. I'd expect him being suspended because of public opinion, but not from another producer of the show.

Is he a douche? Yea probably... Do we expect his world views to be progressive and correct? Hell no... Do we love him anyway? Absolutely.

If Clarkson swung on a producer, try not to forget, the producer is also a co-worker. Most workplaces have a zero tolerance policy for matters like this, so it's likely that Clarkson had to be suspended during the investigation. It's probably not a matter of political correctness or the BBC not knowing Clarkson's value, but instead a legal matter about non-threatening work environments.

Simple, make him drive a Leyland all season. That will teach him a lesson.

They're saying they might not air any of the remaining 3 episodes this season.
